Lead cutter for production of sewn goods (Burien)

compensation: DOE

Lead cutter needed for a growing fashion accessory manufacturer who sells to boutiques nationwide. We are looking for a responsible, reliable individual who can lead the production room keeping sewers working by cutting fast and accurately. Must be willing to work with faux fur. Pay is DOE. Full time opportunity for the right candidate with 6 paid holidays, health benefits and paid time off (full time only) Qualifications:

  • Manage the flow of cutting and production of in house sewers
  • Adobe Illustrator skills a plus
  • Pattern drafting and spec sheets a plus
  • Be able to stand long periods of time
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds many times a day
  • Be able to read patterns
  • Cutting, Rotary cutter
  • Willing to work with faux fur
  • Must be organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and be able to handle interruption
  • Professionalism in every task
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as communicate in a clear and concise manner regarding production questions.
  • Ability to work well under pressure planning and prioritizing to meet deadlines
  • Shows strong initiative and self-confidence in a fast-paced environment
  • Energetic, self-motivated team player
  • Extreme attention to detail with solid multi-tasking and organizational skills
  • Punctual
  • Assist in putting away large fabric deliveries
  • Evaluate bulk fabrics according to our standards
  • Available for OT as needed

Quality Control/Labeling/Production

Quality Control / Product labeling (Burien)

compensation: DOE

We are looking for a responsible, detailed oriented and highly motivated individual to be a part of a small but fast growing hat, handbag and accessory manufacturer who sells to boutiques nationwide. This is a full time position. Mon-Fri with some flexibility. Benefits include 6 paid holidays, heath care and paid time off.

Duties include but not limited to:

- Quality control

- Printing labels for products

- Labeling merchandise

- Stocking merchandise

- Helping with fabric deliveries

- Inventory and ordering for Quality Control Department.

- Receiving Merchandise

Duties to Expand into:

- Answers phones

- Assist with production

- Assist phone customers with pricing and product information

- Data Entry

Qualifications: - Must be organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and be able to handle multiple interruptions

- Professionalism in every task

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

-Shows strong initiative and self-confidence in a fast-paced environment

- Energetic, self-motivated and proactive

- Ability to work well with others to obtain a common goal

- Extreme attention to detail with solid multitasking and organizational skills

- Punctual

- Able to stand, bend and move for longer periods of time

- Able to lift at least 50 pounds

- Ability to climb stairs multiple times a day while carrying heavy boxes

- Available for OT as needed

- Knowledge of fashion production a plus

Additional Skills:

Knowledge of QuickBooks and Excel plus
